"Room was clean and neat. My wife and I especially liked the curved shower rod, which made more room in the shower, and the night light, which helped when getting up at night. Your motel is the first one we have seen that had these two items. Very good planning on someones part. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast could be improved, although the lady that took care of the eating area was very, very good and a hard worker. All in all, we had a nice stay, and we do not like staying in motels!!!"

"Being a Quebec resident it is difficult to pinpoint the attraction of Ontario except that if you say (pretty warm today eh?) Everyone actually responds with a cheerful response. Anyway;I (as always ) find the hospitality of locals an indicator of the area, and your staff there couldn't have been more tolerant, seeing I had to cancel one day and rearrange the next. I used to go to Florida often and the hotels were usualy 19 bucks a nite , but that was 18 years ago-- Red Roof etc. Guess things have changed eh? Chatham's people at your chain are a credit to you."

"I was not disappointed with the hotel... the room was very clean and comfortable. I was not impressed though with the lack of a pool (they said no pool but they give out passes for the YMCA). Also, when I booked the room I was given a certain rate and then when I was checking in, they charged me an extra $10 per night and they said the price increased as they had a fridge and microwave in the room. I feel this was not right and I was very upset and decided that because of this, I would look somewhere else to stay at next time and I do travel enough. I think that when you quote a price, that price should not change on a whim..."

"Our tap in the bathroom only gave out HOT water! We asked to have maintenance look after it and we are not sure if they did since the problem did not seem to be rectified. Our room was at the top of the stairs on the second floor just above the lobby. The night staff seemed to be having a party because there was loud talking and laughing well into the night. We were kept awake with their merriment. We did not partake in the continental breakfast because we found eating breakfast at the local Tim Horton's more adequate. Trying to find something to watch on TV was futile at best. You may consider spending a few extra dollars to get a better cable package. Considering the Travel Lodge is right next door with a hot breakfast included plus microwaves and fridges in all rooms it may to your advantage to reconsider your amenities."

"I had requested a room with two double beds. When we arrived at the hotel, we had been booked for one queen size bed in spite of the confirmation sheet stating two beds. We were fortunate and the hotel was able to give us a room as requested."
