In standard suites, guests can choose between king or queen beds, each with a separate bedroom. Guests can also opt for fireplace, jetted tub or two bedroom suites. Pets are allowed for $75 per stay.
There is no restaurant on site but guests are offered a complimentary hot buffet breakfast (a selection of standard hot breakfast food - eggs, sausages, etc.) and a complimentary buffet dinner in the evening, including non-alcoholic drinks (served Monday-Thursday). There are also a variety of restaurants located within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. On-site amenities include free parking, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a basketball court and a gym.
This hotel is located about a 2-minute drive north of Highway 401. Less than a 10-minute walk away is Hespeler Optimist Park (playgrounds, splash pads, picnic areas). The GoodMost of the comments used for this analysis were positive and guests were impressed with the customer service and with the overall appearance of the rooms.
Guests praised the staff highly at this hotel. Staff were warm, friendly and always greeted guests with a smile. Staff responded quickly to guests' concerns and proactively rectified potential problems. Guests felt that staff took pride in their jobs and that it showed.
Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, according to guests. Guests also liked the decor and said it was modern and bright.
Reviewers said that beds were comfortable and that bedding was of high quality.
A number of guests liked the food offered at the complimentary breakfast (particularly the fresh baked goods) and at the complimentary dinner buffet and said that there was good variety.
There were some peripheral comments about good water pressure in the showers and a nice selection of toiletries in the bathrooms.
The Bad
The bulk of reviews used for this analysis were favourable. There were a handful of guest complaints that were isolated and did not reflect the generally positive experience that most guests had.
A couple of guests encountered technical difficulties in their rooms with things like using the DVD player in the room and with accessing movies from the TV. Both of these issues were quickly rectified when they were addressed by staff.
A few guests recommended having rooms away from the 401 (north side of the building) and from the elevator to avoid noise disturbance.
