Overview
The Best Western Cambridge/Kitchener Hotel is centrally located for exploring the area by car or on foot. It has an easy 3-minute access to Hwy 401, is only an 8-minute drive from downtown Cambridge and 15 minutes from Kitchener. It's also adjacent to the SmartCentre mall which offers shopping and dining options, a short walk from the hotel.

This is a smoke-free and pet-free hotel. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 37" flat screen TV with cable/satellite reception, a mini-fridge, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Guests can choose rooms with one king or queen bed or two queen beds. The hotel also offers junior suites and accessible rooms.

There is no on-site restaurant, but guests are offered a hot buffet breakfast daily. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance including the China House Restaurant (1 minute), Caz's Great Fish and Tim Hortons (5 minutes), and The Keg Steakhouse, Boston Pizza and Montana's (7 minutes).

Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna, business centre and meeting facilities. Guests are offered complimentary passes to World Gym which is a 2-minute drive away and is open 24 hours. Free parking is available on site for cars and oversize vehicles and this hotel offers 24-hr reception and and elevator to all floors. There's a guest laundry on site as well.

Outlet shopping is nearby at Southworks Outlet Shopping Centre (a 10-minute drive). Chicopee Tube Park is a 14-minute drive away (offering tubing in the winter months and ziplining in the summer months). "Disappointed with room. Pleased with customer service."

"Came up to our room and tried to order pizza but the phone didn't work. We had to use our cell phone and incur long distance and roaming charges. Went to plug in our iPads to the outlet behind the bight table to find candy bar wrappers and dirt in large amounts. Looked at the carpet between the walls and the bed and they weren't very clean either. Found more garbage under the bed skirts. Beds were hard but not altogether uncomfortable. Went to make coffee I the morning and the water reservoir needed cleaning. I cleaned it out myself, but the water hose was clogged and I only got a 1/4 of a cup of coffee out of it. During breakfast,which was ok except for a waffle maker which was not working properly, I spoke to the front desk about m concerns. They gave me the room at 50% off which I thought was fair. Not sure if I will stay there again, but I will say the staff were all very professional and helpful,"

"everything was clean enough - renovations being done - need"

"tub in our room did not drain - but it was too late to change rooms so we just put up with it - but I mean really no drain - they had to know about it from the cleaning lady the time before Fitness Centre is down the road not at the hotel - Hot Tub needed cleaned and pool area needed cleaned - everything was just OK but not great!"

"When we stayed there were two girls soceer teams so sometimes at night they were abit loud. Plus we lost a lifejacket at the pool though we never found it the staff was very helpfull in trying to find it for us."
