Located about a 3-minute drive from Alton's town centre and Highway 136, Millcroft Inn & Spa Alton is suitable for road travellers who prefer a boutique-style hotel with a restaurant, a spa and wellness centre and easy highway access.

Each of the hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms and chalets offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a desk, a seating area, a private bathroom and a hair dryer. Rooms with a jetted tub are also available, as are two-storey chalets with a separate bedroom, in-floor heating, a mini-fridge, a fireplace and a patio. The hotel is smoke free and is not wheelchair accessible.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, a tennis court, a games room, meeting/banquet facilities, a business centre, laundry facilities and free parking. Many guests praised the hotel's restaurant, describing the food as delicious, unique, incredible and tasty, and the service as attentive and knowledgeable. One patron remarked, "We had the most incredible dinner at the restaurant. It was so good, that I thought about the meal the next day".
