"pillow had blood stains on them, shower head was sticking out of a hole in the wall, bathroom vent was full of something (I don't even want to think about what was in it), blankets were old and smelly...I could go on and on..."

"Our room was filthy and very small. We stayed here for this price because of the pool for the kids but will not be back for next year. The elevator was broken and we had a room right beside the stairs."

"I was very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. I felt that not only were the rooms dirty, but the entire hotel seemed filthy. I do understand that this establishment may be old and run down, but that is no excuse for the dirty bedlinens I found, the moldy bathrooms, filthy windows, stained carpeting and the overwhelming smell of urine. I was first placed in a room next to a noisy elevator. I was upset after moving to a second room to find it in worse shape then the first. I do not suggest staying in this hotel - it is not sanitary."

"I had bugs in my room (millapaedes). As well, every night I had to book a wake-up call and it would take upwards of 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone at the front desk. As well, it would be nice for the amount that was paid (119.00/night) to have at least a continental breakfast included, and maybe someone to help you in with your bags."

"I found the hotel quite pricey - rooms was small and we were given a room that faced the roof of the facility. Gravel, air conditioning units - not much of a view."

"The room was not as advertised or else the advertisement was an exaggeration. The room wasn't properly cleaned. There was no menu in the room for room service. I was told to go to the restaurant to get one. There was no access key to the mini bar. The hallways were dingy and an awfull colour. The front walk and parking lot were icy and could heave had better snow removal. This had one been rated as a 5 star hotel but I think since it is now a Quality INN, it rates maybe 1 star, comparable to a trucker's overnite lodging and certainly not worth the room rates charged. This was supposed to be the best hotel in Brockville !!!!!!!!!"

"Room needed a little maintenance (Room #217). Toilet slow to flush and refill - the hardware inside the tank seemed to be very old. Also, the shower curtain had some mildew."
