The Bad
Numerous guests did not advise staying here. They felt the hotel was just too run down and dirty, poorly managed and neglected. Some said it looked like an abandoned building from the outside and cited broken glass in the courtyard and tall weeds or grass in view.

Some had been attracted by a lower room rate or even paid mid-range prices, but then realized once they reached the hotel that it was actually priced high for what was offered.

Guests found the hotel in a general state of disrepair and lack of overall maintenance. Staff were often described as missing from the front desk for long periods, and the free breakfast was described as poorly executed, with food sitting out for hours and afterwards neglected.

Guests objected to damage deposits that were billed on top of the room, and some felt the hotel was not very secure, with several doors open to anyone around the building area. One guest saw too many (6) appliances plugged into one wall unit and considered this a fire hazard.

Guests provided lists of things that were not working (key cards, door locks, TVs, AC units, pool heater) or dirty (beds, carpets, bathrooms, pool area) and complained of foul odours. Guests were sometimes given rooms and beds that had not been cleaned from former guests or had terrible stains on duvets or sheets.

Some found the pool cold or cloudy, and the pool area musty smelling, with mould on the walls and the tiles surrounding the pool muddy. In February 2015 it was mentioned in the reviews that the pool was shut down for inspection.
