The Bad
Most of the reviews used for this analysis were negative and there were numerous and varied complaints. Surfacing most frequently were comments about noise disturbances and about odours of cigarette smoke.

There were a number of complaints from guests who were disturbed by noise from guests in adjacent rooms and in the hallways. They could hear things clearly through the walls, and suggested that more needed to be done to soundproof them. Guests also complained of street noise.

There were lingering odours of cigarette smoke that were fairly strong, both in common areas and in the rooms, according to guests.

A few guests complained about the lack of selection offered at the complimentary continental breakfast.

Decor was aging, according to guests, who suggested that updates to furniture and to carpets were in order.

Several guests complained about slow and spotty Wi-Fi connections.

There were some peripheral comments from guests who  said that the beds and the pillows were uncomfortably firm, and who had challenges working the air conditioning units.

"Might be helpful to mention to customers of the $50 deposit prior to check in. May be inconvenient for some. In addition, the continental breakfast was a bit lacking. Staff assured me that it would be better the next day, however, my stay was just for that night. Otherwise, i think i received what i paid for. thank you to the friendly staff."

"Nothing's perfect! For the money it's a grat value. Very central location for our purposes. Terrific breakfast compared to what we usually get, and that is one of the reasons we have been there several times."
