"Unless you like curry food, don't go. The lobby wreaked of curry all day.
The front lobby awning is half ripped off."

"Found that the room could have been cleaner, walls, baseboards and molding were discoloured and dirty, hair found on the sheets and towels, screen door didn't close, bathroom door didn't close. The guest activity book was outdated and the pages were very dirty."

"problem with CanadianHotelGuide.com reservation-- they did not hold room even though it was pre-paid. Then they gave us a key to a room that was occupied, much to their alarm. hotel looks great from the highway, but around to the back and sides it is a rather run down looking. it was clean and we slept well and had easy access to the 401."

"I understand that the hotel is under construction, however, when I booked on line, it would have been good to know that the Golden Griddle was closed, the room was clean, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, did not sleep the whole night, the patio in front of our room was load with weeds.Unless this hotel was upgraded a lot, I would not stay again, or recommend to anyone."

"Carpet and bedspread had holes in them! Everyone we knew who was staying there complained about the bathrooms - to sit on the toilet was dangerous - too close to sink and toilet paper holder - - sit down with elbows in- or risk injury from bumping into these objects.
Woodwork was dirty! Door closer had been replaced or moved, but the hole from the previous door closer were never filled in or painted over. Pillows so flat they were practically non exixtant. Windows in the room and the restaurant were dirty."

"We were in an older "motel" section, the heating/air system did not seem to run smoothly or consistently, and while not dirty there were areas ie. back of bathroom door around door knob, that had accumulation of dirt. We will choose to pay more and drive a little further to our destination next time."
