Given its location within a 5-minute walk to big box stores and various dining options, this hotel appeals to guests who want to have easy access to shops and restaurants. This hotel may also appeal to guests who seek basic accommodations at a lower price point.

All of the 50 rooms at this hotel have free Wi-Fi. Guests can choose from rooms with various bed types, including king, queen or double beds. Pets are allowed for $10 per night. 

Guests can dine on-site at Hibachi & Buffet restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner daily. There are also a wide selection of restaurants within a 10-minute walk from this hotel. Free parking is available on site.

The Galaxy Cinema multi-plex movie theatre is within walking distance, about a 15-minute walk away. Shopping is available at the Quinte Mall, just under a 10-minute walk away. Based on the reviews used for this analysis, guests did not have a lot of praise for this hotel, but they did comment favourably on staff.

Staff were described by guests as polite. Front desk staff were singled out as being particularly friendly.

Some guests found that this hotel was conveniently close to the 401 (less than a 5-minute drive) and within walking distance to big box stores (5-minute walk), chain restaurants and shopping at Quinte Mall (just under a 10-minute walk).

The Bad
Based on the reviews consulted for this analysis it would appear that the majority of guests staying at this hotel had an unpleasant experience. The most common complaints focused on the lack of maintenance and cleaning at this hotel.

Guests suggested that this hotel was in a general state of disrepair and was in need of significant maintenance and renovations. Complaints of broken light fixtures, broken windows, peeling paint, crooked bathroom doors and holes in sinks were among guest comments.

Several guests said that the rooms lacked thorough cleaning. Mouldy grout in the tiles, dirty bathroom baseboards, dirty linens and dirty carpets were mentioned specifically.

A number of guests felt that the rooms were overly expensive, given the state of disrepair and the lack of amenities.

Some reviewers said that they didn't feel safe and that they neigbourhood immediately surrounding the hotel was unsavoury. A few guests complained that their doors didn't lock and that the absence of front desk staff overnight made them uneasy.

A number of guests complained of lingering cigarette smoke odours even in non-smoking rooms. 

Several guests said the Wi-Fi signals were weak and unreliable and that the lighting was poor in the rooms.
