"Good Value"
"The hotel is only a $10-15 cab ride from the bars downtown and right off the 400 highway so the location is really good. Check in and check out was quick and hassle free. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, which to me is the most important thing. Very good value for the money if you need a place to crash for a day or more."

"not quite what it was made it out to be"
"The towels were very stained and discolored. We were in a non smoking room so I did not expect the clean towels and linen to smell like smoke.
Our room key did not work on the outer doors even after being "fixed" at the front desk numerous times. The back of the bathroom door was black with dirt and fingerprints."

"The hotel is in an excellent location for Barrie. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent, however, this hotel is missing a feature which is any kind of room service. I was not aware that this hotel did not offer that but given its location in Barrie, a small city, just even basic room service would have been more convenient. In fact, we could not even find any access to ice. Continental breakfast was available, but snacks and drinks late evening was waht we were looking for.
We plan to return sometime and would stay at this hotel again."

"It was a clean hotel, and the staff was very pleasant. Restaurants and shopping was within walking distance. Even the walk to the Beach wasn't to far just nice.

"The two things that I did not care for in this Comfort Inn was that , 1) there was not an elevator and 2) the sound proofing was very poor. My friends and I had our sleep interupted by noise from the hall by disruptive guests who had to be evicted by the police. Although I realize that is an unfortunate event that can happen anywhere, had the room had better sound proofing, there would have been a chance that the sound would not have bothered us, as the event was not near our rooms. But in defence of the hotel, the evening staff handled the situation as quickly as possible and the police were called when they realized that it was something they could not handle."
