The Good
The reviews were mixed with some guests finding this hotel serviceable and others finding it too dated. Although the hotel is tired, there were several redeeming characteristics that made guests' stays enjoyable.

Guests who enjoyed their stays found this hotel clean, with comfortable beds, well priced, and well located in the downtown area, near to restaurants, shopping, the ferry terminal and the waterfront.

The Bad
Although the hotel is completing renovations, some guests felt it was just too old to enjoy. They mentioned several things about their stay that were disappointing.

The remodelling of the building made it look like a construction site and the parking area was uneven and badly needed resurfacing.

Some guests were disappointed with their rooms. They reported stained carpets, old TVs, a noisy AC unit, patched wallpaper and dated furnishings.

Although some guests enjoyed meals on site, a few guests were dissatisfied with the restaurant. They complained that it was understaffed, with slow service and said the food did not taste good.

Occasionally, guests found the parking on site limited.
