The Bad
There were several common concerns voiced online from guests who found the hotel a little old and a little expensive for what it offered.

Several guests were not fully pleased with the rooms. Complaints found online included: 80's decor, old and saggy beds, pillows too big, lights not working, ants in the bathroom, rough older towels, a lack of a mini-fridge, a mouldy bathroom and rooms that smelled musty.

Complaints about the public areas included: Pool area could have been cleaner and needs repairs and updating, carpets were old and somewhat stained, smelly halls, the buildings need some sprucing up and the overall ambiance was getting dated.

Several guests thought the hotel was overpriced. A few reviewers spoke of high restaurant prices, but several others thought the room rates were too high based upon the dated condition of the rooms and the somewhat isolated location of the hotel which was not "walking distance to anything".

A few guests found the hotel difficult to locate due to poor signage on the highway.
