"The Air Conditioner in our room was so noisy, I didn't sleep much. If I turned it off it was too hot. The restaurant was too hot to eat in... we ate in our room. The bathroom was filthy .... with mold. The faucet was plugged and needed replacing.
You pay good hard earned money to a hotel for sleep and to get cleaned up. Both were a disappointment. I can't believe you charged us for this."

"The biggest complaint had to do with the air conditioning units. The noise generated by them was unbelievable. We had to turn ours off to sleep, yet could still clearly hear the unit in the next room. Its not that we stay in 4 or 5 star hotels either, we were on the road for ten days between ontario and PEI and stayed in $100 - $150 hotels from varying brands (including other Howard Johnsons) and this was by far the worst of the lot. The staff was friendly, helpful and sympathetic but were unable to improove the situation."
