Overview
This hotel overlooks the Sydney Harbour and is situated among other hotels and restaurants. This property is about a 4-minute drive from downtown Sydney and is well located for guests looking to explore the area by car.

This property is 100% smoke-free and all rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board, a work desk, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a hair dryer and individual climate control. Select rooms also include a jetted tub and a fireplace. Rooms are furnished with either two queen beds or one king bed.

This hotel has two floors and no elevator. Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted in select rooms at no additional charge.

The on-site Cape Bretoner Restaurant and Lounge serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Room service is also available. A free breakfast is served from 7 am to 10:30 am.

The customer service was the most complimented aspect of this property, among the reviews used for this analysis. Guests described the front desk agents as friendly, accommodating, professional and quick to provide recommendations.

Many guests described their rooms as clean and their beds as comfortable.

A couple of reviewers found the location convenient for accessing area attractions by car and the ferries to Newfoundland.

The Bad
Many guests seemed disappointed by their experience at this hotel, among the reviews sourced for this analysis. Reviewers expressed concerns about general cleanliness and the free breakfast.

While many guests found their rooms to be clean, a few reviewers thought that their rooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Several reviewers complained about dirty carpeting in the hallways. "During our recent stay at Sydney, we experienced a great amount of noise from the room above. Heavy stomping on the floor by possibly a four hundred pound being awakened us or kept us awake. This was relayed to the front desk; however, it continued each night. Would we stay there again? Probably not! Even though the waitresses were delightful in their service, we need our sleep. Thus our experience with Quality Inn is neither good nor will be continued in future."

"If u ask for the ground floor its really in the basement. So. Main level is 2nd floor!! The stair case could be swept and vacuumed. The room was clean but nothing spectacular!!"

"I stayed at this establishment due to business. Having forgotten essential papers, I was in a panic state. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful...providing me with phone numbers, use of fax machine, and directions."

"We were given the handi-cap room and the shower was not very easy to use for us standing people. We did not request it but I guess it was the last non smoker."
