"The location was beautiful right on the ocean with sandy beachfront. The facility however,is in desperate need of both cleaning and updating. The rustic cottages were very rustic. These could have been much better had they been cleaned properly. In our cottage, we found: sand covered carpets -- heavily stained; mold growing on bathroom walls, ceilings and doorways; dirty windows and sliding glass doors; and spider webs everywhere. The indoor pool was very dirty, as was the entire area around the spa, (hot tub). The same goes for the outdoor pool which was extemely small. My children enjoyed the bunnys, but there are so many bunnies that you must watch where you step. The children's play area was an added feature, but the entire play area was covered with rabbit remnants. We realize that the US tends to have higher standards than the some parts of the world when it comes to rating resorts, as we travel extensively, but, we found this to be a very over rated as a resort. The marketing department did an excellent job in presenting what we thought was a nice facility. Unfortunately, the reality did meet our expectations."
