Others considered the hotel to be within walking distance to restaurants, Halifax attractions, and the waterfront boardwalk.
There were also many compliments about the comfortable atmosphere of this historic property. Many reviewers praised the clean and comfortable rooms, while other guests described their rooms as well appointed or tastefully decorated. The Bad
There were not many common complaints about this hotel, but several reviewers were disappointed that this property did not have an elevator. Some guests described the stairs as narrow, steep, and generally inconvenient.
A couple of guests agreed that their rooms were small and cramped and that the bathroom plumbing was in need of upgrades. One reviewer noted that the room furniture was uncomfortable for working on his computer and he also found the Internet service slow. Another guest was frustrated that she was unable to control the in-room temperature.
