"To start off with we got there at check-in time(2pm) and were told our room wasn't ready. One lady sort of avoided why it wasn't ready and another flat out told us it had been sprayed for ants! She said it wasn't toxic but it was an unpleasant smell still in the room. So reassuring. Still seen ants in the room that night! Bathtub had paint scaled off of it and repainted with an off color white, really classy. Went to get our breakfast the next morning and the waitress was unfriendly, and forgot our orange juice and had to be reminded twice to bring that and the ketchup we asked for. The restaurant only had two tables occupied besides our's so there excuse is not that they were busy. We checked out before breakfast also and weren't even told thanks for spending the night at howard johnson. Before the clerk was done speaking with us she had moved on to chat with another co-worker."

"The perfect place for our purposes. Yes, there was a musty odour, but we found leaving the bathroom fan on and door closed dissipated it. Not luxurious, but the restaurant was good (a basic breakfast included), staff friendly, and the 24 hour laundromat very convenient. We were out sightseeing and visiting in the area from 9 to 9 everyday, and just needed a place to sleep and this was great. As for location, it's convenient if you have a car."

"It was listed as a "2 star hotel" and it was. It was an older motel in need of upgrades but the bed was cofortable, the sheets clean, towels fresh and the room was well cleaned each morning. The Cont. breakfast very basic but was there every morning. All the staff were excellent to deal with."
