"Great hotel"

"OK for short stay."
"There was mold on the wall in the first room we were given. After complaining, we were promptly given another room. There are no rooms with comunicating doors. I was not able to find this out by booking with this service!!!"

"Great hotel"
"Very clean and comfortable hotel. All the staff with the exception of one desk clerk were very cheerful and helpful. I will definately stay there again and hopeful this one rude clerk will be on their days off."

"They were friendly and the breakfast buffet was awsome!
Its mins from Bayers Lake one way, and then mins the other way to downtown halifax. The front desk has free maps and step-by-step directions.
Simply wonderful!!!!!!!"

"The location is not ideal if you have no vehicle. A 20 minute taxi ride costs $20 or you can opt for a 50 minute bus ride ($2.25). There is nothing other than the odd fast food outlet nearby. Better to look in the city itself for convenience. Breakfast area is far too small for the number of guests. Embarrassing when people are sat in the foyer with their paper plates (yes paper) trying to eat breakfast. I went down at different time to eat and on one occasion I had to go back to my room with my paper plate in order to be able to sit down. If you enjoy newspapers then you will be in heaven: they bring 2 a day except Sunday when you get none!"

"Holiday Inn Express, Halifax-Bedford, Nova Scotia, was a pleasant surprise for our family of 5 who arrived at 1:03 am after a long (and delayed) flight. The breakfast that was included was great! And we even had a chance to use the swimming pool before checking out. Great and very reasonable place for a family to stay.
We also stayed at Holiday Inn Express, Moncton, and found out that the ideal room for a family to stay in is a "2-Queen Bed Suite", with 2 rooms, pull-out sofabed, 2 tv's, kitchenette with microwave oven, mini-fridge, table, etc.
We will recommend both locations to friends, and look forward to another stay."

"This was a first for me and my girls. This was my first Christmas as a single Mom and I've never thought of staying at a hotel close to Christmas before. With so much hustle and bustle and stress at Christmas time it was very refresing to unwind in the pool and hot tub and the staff was so very friendly. One gal that was in the breakfast area working even remembered my daughter later that day and that made her feel very special. Thanks. We needed the break."
