"It was unfortunate that there is a big construction project going on across the street. This made it impossible to sleep past 7am. We were not told about this at time of booking and found out on signs posted in the elevator. We tried to put on the air conditioner to drown out the noise but the A/C made such a racket that it did not help."

"The only comments that my sons and I have are that we expected the pool to be bigger (we did not use it; it was filled with very young children) and that the jackhammering due to construction on Thursday morning, August 11, starting at close to 7 in the morning was AWFUL. We had been told at check-in about it the night before, but in our circumstance (vacationing to relax, write music and do nothing), the sporadic yet constant noise in the morning (even though our room was located at the most far reaches of the hotel) was annoying and nervewracking. Truly, I would have chosen a different hotel a few blocks away if I had known. Fortunately, there was no construction noise on Friday morning. I do wish that we'd known about the construction when booking online - I realize this is counter-business, but ethically, that really should be mentioned so that clients don't feel duped or stuck, depending on the nature of their visit."

"Only problem was at check out when one person out of our group checked out earlier than the rest of us she was not permitted to split the cost of the room by 4, as agreed to, and thus was asked to pay for one night stay, plus telephone...Consequently, it worked out that her cost of the stay was &35 more than our cost. When we checked out later taht day we were able to divide the remaining room cost by three with no questions asked. Wonder why the difference?"

"FREE INTERNET CONNECTION WAS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR SELECTING THIS HOTEL...BUT COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK IN THE SHORT TIME AT THE HOTEL...EVEN WITH ASSISTANCE FROM THE STAFF"

"The only thing I was disappointed with was the wait for my room. I arrived at 2PM and was notified that check in was at 3PM so I would have to wait. I walked around until 3:30PM to make sure that I wouldn't have to wait any longer when I returned. At that time, the clerk advised me that my room wasn't ready. She told me to come back at 4:30 and my room would be ready. At this point, the story was getting old, but I didn't say anything. The room was finally ready after I walked around another hour."

"It is a good clean hotel, staff were friendly, conveniently located, and the room was fresh and comfortable. I appreciated there smoke free policy - best I've seen, ie no smoking anywhere in the building. The only comment I would make on the negative side is that I found the $14 (approx) overnight parking charge a bit much."
