The most complimented aspect of this hotel was the customer service. Many reviewers described the staff as hospitable and quick to correct any problems. One guest was impressed with how the hotel manager promptly handled a disturbance complaint. Another reviewer stated that the staff, "assisted in every possible way to make our stay at the hotel a memorable one."
Many guests found their rooms to be spacious and clean. Several reviewers also described their rooms as well appointed with modern decor.
The quality of the complimentary hot breakfast buffet was also praised by many guests, with several guests specifically mentioning that the waffle station added variety to the hot items offered.

The Bad
There were very few complaints about this hotel and most negative comments seemed to be an isolated experience.
A couple of guests found the hotel inconveniently located for travel to downtown Halifax. Also, a couple of reviewers were unhappy that the view from their guest rooms included the business park and a nearby fast food chain.
A few reviewers were disturbed by noise in their rooms. One guest described hearing the elevator from their room, while another guest complained about hearing the television in a neighbouring room.
Other negative comments included guests finding the low-flow toilets inadequate and the beds too soft.
