"Very nice airy room with a view and great beds, but the hotel is a bit far from the town centre. There was some noise from a wedding reception. The breakfast was disappointing - both the quality and the waiting time for a table."

"Excellent stay ... you will see us again for sure!"
"The room we were in did not have a hairdryer. Although it was New Year's and very busy, the wonderful staff at the front desk were sure to follow-up and within 3 hours had a hairdryer for me without any further prompting. Overall service was excellent, staff very friendly and the food in the dining room was stellar!"

"Smart Choice on Chocolate Lake"
"The customer service and hotel amenities were excellent. Room was well appointed and the beds comfortable. Front desk staff helpful with restaurant choices. The location on Chocolate Lake is wonderful, the views are great. Proximity to Downtown Halifax makes this a smart choice!"

"I'd go back!"
"Lovely property - right on Chocolate Lake. Very clean - 10 minutes to downtown Halifax - close to Halifax Center mall - easy to get to Peggy's Cove. Not impressed with staff - unprofessional attitudes. - yakking about personal stuff & keeping me waiting to register doesn't score points! Restaurant understaffed - waited 10 minutes for a table - but the food was good."
