Gordon from Fred, NB CA stayed on June 15, 2006
"We rented the suite with the understanding that there was two double beds in one bedroom and a sofa bed. We received a bedroom with a double bed, a full sitting room and a second sleeping area. The layout gave privacy to all. This was excellent value!"

Lawrie from Beausejour, MB CA stayed on October 08, 2005
"We were told on check in that continental breakfast was from 7 to 11. This would work well for us as we had to be at the airport by 8. We found out the next morning that breakfast was not until 8 A.M. This was very inconvenient for us as we had to find alternatives quickly."

Lissette from Quistamsis, NB CA stayed on July 07, 2005
"There was a slight smell as we walked in to the lobby. :o( The spiral stairs going up to our room were nice but too narrow and somewhat dangerous. what do you guys do for wheelchair customers? we had an infant and many things to bring up to our room. there was no iron in our room, which was a little upsetting. the bathroom and general decor seemed quite outdated. there were not enough pillows available but on the upside, the double that seemed a little small for the 3 of us (2 adults and infant) was surprisingly comfortable. Overall I don't think we would return but with some work this inn could be a nice one and for the price, you really can't beat it.
Sincerely,
Lissette"

Barry from Thornhill, ON CA stayed on July 29, 2004
"We are from Ontario and went online 'sight unseen' and booked with Bayview Motor Inn not knowing the city of Halifax at all or where the Inn was located in Halifax. We booked our first two nights there before proceeding to tour the rest of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We were so pleased with those two nighs that we made reservations to stay there when we returned to Halifax to finish up our holidays.
We have always been very interested in the history of the Halifax explosions so it was a plus to find that Bayview Motor Inn overlooked the Bedord Basin not far from where the explosion took place.
Would we go back again? Yes! Would we recommend the Inn to someone else? Yes!
Barry & Marilyn Duguid"

Carol from Pictou, NS CA stayed on May 02, 2004
"Pretty standard for a motel. Actually very close to downtown Halifax - only took me 12 minutes to drive from the motel to downtown. Nothing outstanding about it, but no real drawbacks either. The rooms were clean and if all you need is a place to sleep and that isn't out of the way from downtown Halifax, it's not a bad spot to stop. Maybe a bit pricey for a motel, but still about half the price of the hotels downtown."
