The Good
Guest reviews were of mixed opinion in the reviews sourced online.

It seems that the staff for the most part were helpful and tried to satisfy the guests, and guests found the location handy to the highway, restaurants and shopping at Mic Mac Mall.

The room price was affordable and the rooms were generally comfortable and acceptably clean, although dated and lacking maintenance.

It seems that breakfast was pretty basic, with make-your-own waffles, plus continental choices, and several guests found it satisfying.

Several guests enjoyed the pool area.

The Bad
There were lots of complaints posted online, although overall the reviews were mixed. The hotel lacked overall maintenance and seemed to have suffered neglect from its owners.

Although the staff were usually pleasant, they were sometimes obstinate and handled complaints poorly.

With regard to the rooms guests complained of: smoke and musty odours, dirty carpets, dated decor, worn bathroom fixtures, AC units dripping water, stained furniture, stained ceiling tiles, key cards not working, housekeeping only changed towels but did not vacuum, damp beds and carpets, noisy AC units, poorly serviced rooms offering partially used shampoo, uncomfortable and broken beds and a door frame coming off.

Poor security measures at the hotel with long dark hallways, and exterior doors not locked allowing anyone into the hotel, was another recent complaint.

Many guests had a lot of difficulty with the Wi-Fi, including having to log on repeatedly.

While some guests appreciated the free breakfast, a few thought that the breakfast needed more selection.

Occasionally guests complained of rowdy and noisy bar patrons that were near to the hotel.
