Confirmed with the front desk on September 4, 2015: pets are allowed for free on first floor rooms only, the honeymoon suite has a double jacuzzi and sauna, some rooms have a working oven with stove top and others have the stove top only, breakfast is available daily from 6 am to 10 am.

Guest reviewers typically found the rooms comfortable. They described their rooms as clean and spacious with comfortable beds and nice views. The kitchenettes were a welcome addition for guests as well.
Guests enjoyed genial service at the hotel from the front desk agents. One guest put it well, "As we got there we were treated as [though we had] been there before. [We were] very impressed with staff." The staff also provided knowledgeable help on how to get to local sights, according to more than one guest.
Guests found the location convenient. Reviewers mentioned accessing Highway 111, the McKay Bridge, the Angus MacDonald bridge, the ferry and the Burnside Industrial Park by car. Guests who paid mid-range rates and not budget rates were generally more critical of the hotel and pointed to its areas of weakness. Some guests found the hotel to have poor ventilation and to smell like stale smoke, both in the hallways and in some of the rooms.
Also the basic continental breakfast that was liked by many guests, was judged to be too basic by some guests. Some were more critical and said the breads were stale.
