The Good
Based on the reviews used for this analysis, most people did not have a good experience staying at this hotel. In fact, nearly all of the comments gathered during research were negative. It is worth noting that, although these editorials are intended to be objective, there was not a large sampling of reviews for this analysis and that the reviews used were old (the most recent was December 23, 2011).

The Bad
The overwhelming majority of reviews used for this analysis were critical and guests were particularly unhappy with the lack of cleanliness in the rooms and with aging decor. However, as noted above, there were a limited number of total reviews and none of them were more recent than December 2011.

Several guests felt that there was a lack of attention to detail paid to cleaning in the rooms. They complained about personal items and food left behind by previous guests, hair in the beds and in the bathrooms, stained and dirty carpets and dirty towels.

Many guests complained about aging decor and suggested that widespread updates and renovations were needed. They mentioned threadbare linens, bedspreads with cigarette burns in them, peeling wallpaper, broken, dated furniture and bathroom doors off their hinges that wouldn't close.

Several guests complained about unpleasant odours in their rooms, which some sourced as lingering cigarette smoke (in some cases, in non-smoking rooms), while others could not specifically identify the source.

A number of guests didn't like the food served in the on-site restaurant and said that menu choice was poor and that food was cold.
