The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with praise going to the hotel's staff, value, and location.
Many guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received at this hotel. They characterized the staff as cheerful and helpful, and one guest mentioned the owner, "goes the extra mile to please all his guests and his staff".
Several patrons felt the hotel provided good value. These reviewers found the rates to be reasonable for the quality of hotel. The free breakfast was also mentioned numerous times in relation to the hotel's value, although a few reviewers would have preferred to have a choice of what they received. The free breakfast offers one type of hot breakfast only: bacon, toast, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and coffee.
The hotel's location was a source of several compliments by lodgers. They described the hotel as close to highway access, Bridgewater's downtown area, as well as shopping and local restaurants.
The Bad
While many reviewers were pleased with their rooms and described them as clean and spacious with good water pressure and comfortable beds, a few guests were disappointed with certain features of their rooms. They reported cigarette odours in non-smoking rooms, a slow internet signal, a noisy air conditioning/heating unit, and worn carpets throughout the hotel.
It should be mentioned however, that the hotel is undergoing renovations until the summer of 2013, and will be replacing the carpets and air conditioning units during this time.
