The Coast Fraser Tower is your best bet for a good experience and pleasing accommodation in Yellowknife. It's well-reviewed by guests online and conveniently located about a 2-minute drive to the downtown core, and only 9 minutes to the airport.

The Fireside Lounge serves dinner on-site and some nearby dining choices are Thornton's Wine & Tapa Room which is a 4-minute walk away, and A Taste of Saigon and Boston Pizza, which are both reachable within a 3-minute drive.

The Super 8 Motel is a good budget hotel with very good ratings in Yellowknife, although still quite highly priced. Free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, local calling and parking with block heater plug ins help to bring the price down and increase value.

Guests can access the city centre in a 5-minute drive and the airport in 9 minutes. There's some restaurants close by, all less than a 5-minute walk, including Diamante and Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, and McDonald's. Shopping at Walmart is reachable in 4 minutes on foot from the hotel.
