This hotel is situated 5 minutes by car from the Peninsula Mall and has an on-site restaurant, making this a suitable choice for travellers who want easy access to amenities.

This hotel offers 133 rooms over five floors and each room comes with individual climate control, a flat screen TV with cable, a coffee maker, a mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi and free local calls.

On-site parking is free of charge. Pets are allowed at this hotel at no extra charge, but the hotel must be notified during booking.

Other hotel features include a fitness room, guest laundry, banquet and conference facilities, catering services and a business centre. The on-site restaurant, PJ Billington's, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. PJ's Pub is also on site, as is Pub Beau Bois, which features live music Saturday nights from 10 pm to 12 am.

Marystown Heritage Museum is a 2-minute walk away. Golden Sands Amusement Park is an 8-minute drive away, while Frenchman's Cove Provincial Park is a 23-minute drive northwest from the hotel. The Good
The reviews drawn upon for this analysis were mainly negative, however, guests were still impressed with the restaurant fare, the rooms and the beds.

The restaurant was a source of praise for a few guests. They enjoyed the food and felt the customer service was efficient and friendly.

Although the majority of reviews regarding the rooms were negative, there were a few guests who felt the rooms were nice, clean and spacious. One reviewer mentioned that the rooms were newly renovated (review date February 4, 2013) and spoke favourably of the new enhancements.

While the majority of feedback regarding the beds were complaints, there were a couple guests who thought the beds were comfortable.
The Bad
As mentioned above, the vast majority of reviews sourced for this analysis were negative and overall, most guests were not impressed with the hotel. They complained about noise disturbances and the staff.

According to a few guests, the staff were rude and the customer service from all levels of staff was poor. One reviewer criticized the restaurant staff for being inefficient while another reviewer had difficulties getting a response on the phone while trying to make reservations and consequently booked at another hotel.

Guests found the AC units very loud and disruptive and also complained often about noisy neighbours.
