The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, location, and staff.
Many lodgers were pleased with the accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as tastefully-decorated, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the pond.
The hotel's location was praised by numerous guests. They found it to be within walking distance of restaurants, close to West Street, Marble Mountain, and providing easy access to the Corner Brook Stream Trail system.
Several reviewers offered compliments to the hotel's staff. They were characterized as welcoming, informative and accommodating. It should be noted however, that while many guests were pleased with the customer service they received, a few found the staff to be unfriendly.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple complaints among them regarding noise transfer and the lack of included amenities.
While the majority of reviews found stated the hotel was quiet during, a couple of guests reported noisy conditions during nights when there were large functions booked in the ballroom.
A few patrons were disappointed with the lack of mini-fridge in some of the rooms, as well as the lack of free breakfast included in the price. These guests felt that for the price they paid, these amenities should have been included in the room rates.
