The Good
Most of the guest reviews used for this analysis showed a positive response to the hotel's staff, rooms, and location.

Most guests found the hotel's service to be helpful and friendly. The staff (and its manager, Norm, in particular) were characterized as being proactive, efficient and helpful in offering information about the surrounding area.

Several reviewers praised the hotel's rooms. They were described as being clean and quiet and having comfortable beds and a strong Wi-Fi signal. Many of these reviewers made note of the fact that the rooms were of good value for the price paid.

The location of the Knights Inn was complimented by many lodgers, who described it as being close to the city centre and the airport. A few reviewers noted, however, that it was not within walking distance to many restaurants.
The Bad
While reviews used for this analysis were mostly positive, a few common negative comments mentioned the hotel's decor and cigarette odours.

A few guests were disappointed with the hotel's decor and described it as "old and tired". There were a few reports of stains on the carpet, and a few reviewers felt there should be coffee/tea makers in the rooms. It should be noted however, that the majority of lodgers felt the hotel was more than worth the money they paid.

A couple of reviewers had issues with the smell of cigarette smoke in their rooms. They described the smell as stale, and being present even in their non-smoking rooms.
