Located about a 1-minute drive from Highway 106 in downtown Moncton, the Midtown Motel & Suites is popular with travellers who require an economical and centrally-located hotel with easy highway access and extended kitchen amenities. Their daily, weekly and monthly rate plans appeal to both short- and long-term travellers.

This hotel has 25 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a kitchenette, a toaster, a coffeemaker, a desk, an iron and ironing board, a seating area and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one or two queen beds, while rooms with a fully-equipped kitchen and a jetted tub are also available. Smoking rooms are available.

The hotel also offers laundry facilities, free coffee and free parking. Dogs and cats are permitted for an additional $20 per pet per stay, and wheelchair-accessible rooms are available upon request.

The Good
The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's staff, value and rooms.

Many guests praised the hotel's staff, and characterized them as polite, accommodating and knowledgeable. Many guests praised the general manager in particular for being welcoming and devoted to guests.

Numerous lodgers found the hotel to provide good value, and described the rates as affordable, amazing, reasonable and fair. One guest felt that the fridge and microwave (standard in all rooms) helped him or her save money and contributed to the hotel's value.

The hotel's accommodations were praised by several reviewers. They described their rooms as well equipped, clean, spacious and well kept, with comfortable beds. It should be noted however, that a few lodgers had complaints about their rooms (see below).

The hotel's location was also praised by some guests, who described it as close to the bus station, restaurants, shopping and highway access.
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were some common complaints.

Noise disruptions were mentioned by a few guests. They reported noise from guests in adjacent rooms and a couple of guests said the pipes made loud noises.

Although the majority of lodgers found their accommodations to be well equipped and spacious some guests complained about various weaknesses of the hotel.  A couple of guests were displeased with the towels for not being new and fluffy. Two other guests complained that the shower's water was not regulated and became hotter.
