As mentioned above, there were some concerns about the condition of the rooms. Many guests described the room interiors as dated and in need of upgrades. One reviewer described the room as "quite run down and quite clearly hasn't been updated since the late 90's", while other guests noted walls in need of re-painting, a drafty exterior door, stained carpeting and old furniture.

A couple of guests complained about a lack of hot water in the shower in the mornings.
