OverviewLocated on Highway 102 just outside Fredericton's downtown area, the Delta Fredericton Inn is suited to business and vacation travellers who prefer a full service and centrally-located hotel with a meeting/banquet space, a spa and an indoor pool.
This hotel has 222 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, each offering free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk, a seating area, an iPod docking station, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Standard rooms provide two queen beds, two double beds or one king with a sofabed, while rooms with a bathrobe for each guest, a walk-in rain shower, a trouser press and a complimentary breakfast are also available. Rooms overlook either the river or the courtyard.
Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, a spa, fitness facilities, meeting/banquet space, a business centre, laundry services, a gift shop, a barber/beauty shop, bicycle rentals, a vending machine and free parking.

On-site dining is provided at [Catch] Urban Grill, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and at DJ Purdy's, which serves dinner daily. The Dip Pool Bar and Grill is open seasonally from June 1st to September 7th and serves lunch and dinner daily. Room service is available.
Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available, and small to medium-sized cats and dogs are permitted for a fee of $35 per stay.
The University of New Brunswick is about a 7-minute drive southeast of the hotel, while Fredericton International Airport (YFC) is roughly a 17-minute drive southeast. The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, staff and food.
Many guests were pleased with their accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as clean, modern, well equipped and spacious, with large work desks, comfortable beds, nice views of the St. John River and speedy Wi-Fi.
The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by lodgers, and were characterized as friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
Several reviewers enjoyed the hotel's restaurants, describing the food as delectable and excellent, with a warm atmosphere. One lodger remarked, "I didn't need to try elsewhere given the selection of dishes available and quality of the ingredients".
The Bad
While the majority of critiques consulted for this analysis were positive, noise disruptions were mentioned by some guests. They reported being able to hear guests in adjacent rooms, as well as noise from a wedding reception late at night on the patio and from children's sports teams in the hallways. Noise transfer was also reported in rooms near the elevator and vending machines.
It should be noted that many of the negative comments for this hotel had to do with the large-scale renovations and construction the hotel was undergoing at the time. These renovations were completed as of November 2012.
