"Dust and dirt."
"When I arrived in my room I noticed, Garbage under a seat, and lots of dust for everyone on and around the TV. Ontop of this two out of four coffee cups were already opend and one had a coffe stain in the bottom of it. Also the bathroom had a heavy duty cleaner smell to it....But I will say it was clean. Just a strong smell."

"Great deal for the price"
"We stopped here on our drive from ON to NL in July. Very close to the highway, pool was okay and it gave our 5 yr old a chance to burn off some engery after all day in the car. Two restaurants to chose from with a nice breakfast at a great price. Would suggest making reservations as we could not get a room on our return as we called to late."

"The fitness center was nonexistent while it was mentioned in their brochure in the hotel room, as being available. At the pool there were no towels, and the front desk was too busy to give us any. I found the value did not match the goods and services we didn't receive.
I would not stay at a Quality Inn in the future."

"The room we were in was large (it was advertised as a suite) but apppeared to be a converted storage room. There were large hooks in the ceiling and there was minor damage to the ceiling which had been painted over. The main lighting was three sets of commercial flourescent tubes left over from the storage room days; this was particularily disappointing. One of the hanging lighting fixtures was broken. The staff was prompt in trying to fix it and when it couldn't be done, a replacment table lamp was brought in quickly. Overall the hotel was fine (for what it is) but I found our room to be substandard."

"The food at the restaurant was terrible. We had mussles and they were tough and salty. I'm a maritimer and felt like going back into the kitchen to teach them how to cook. The chicken was over cooked, the bread on the sandwich was burned. I, as a home cook, wouldn't have served what we got to paying customers. We stay at this hotel every year and have been pleased. The restaurant would be the place I would concentrate on improving. For the cost of the food, we will go elsewhere from now on."

"Other than the construction going on, it was pretty good. About 1/2 hr. after I left the motel I realized I forgot my watch and phoned so I could pick it up on my way back to N.S. They were quite obliging and it was there when I dropped by 3 days later. Thank you."

"We found the hotel was easy to locate from the highway. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurent was good. I had three rooms under the name of Eloise Schaan, Hilda Marion and myself Dorothy Brophy and we all thought the hotel was great. Thank you for the website. Dorothy Ottawa Ontario"

"Our stay was not a bad experience, but was *WAY* overpriced at regular rates. I felt very cheated after paying and will certainly never go back. This was a 2-3 star hotel charging 4+ star standards. Not recommended unless you pay less than $79 per night."

"You need help in the restaurant. Our server did not know the soup of the day when asked and asked us if we'd like him to find out! He also brought soya sauce instead of olive oil and when asked about the house dressing, said it was the house dressing, but didn't know what it was made from. He also "auctioned," the plates -- "Who gets this, who gets that," which is always a sign that servers are disinterested in what the clients have ordered. The food was alright but somewhat expensive. If the restaurant were in my home town, I'd never go back because of the prices and the service. Training would be useful for the staff"

"Air conditioner not working properly.
Window left open and handle broken. Had to remove screen to manually close window.
Room door loose and rattling.
Bathroom door too tight to close.
Room was well prepared and staff very helpful."

"We used this as an overnight stop on a long journey since it was very conveniently located adjacent to a major highway. It was clean, comfortable, well decorated and the staff were very pleasant and efficient.
We would certainly use it again since it met all our needs after a tiring day."
