The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's location, staff, and rooms.
Many guests found the hotel to be close to major highways, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, the airport and Crystal Palace. One guest described the hotel as being in a "pleasant, treed area".
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as accommodating, friendly and professional, as well as helpful in giving directions and answering questions.
The hotel's rooms were a source of several compliments by lodgers. They were described as clean, spacious and well-equipped. While the majority of reviewers found the beds and linens to be comfortable, a few others complained they found the beds to be too hard.
The Bad
While many of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included noise transfer, the pool, and the $100 deposit required upon check in.
Some guests reported noise from planes taking off and landing, as well as jumping and yelling from unsupervised children and sports teams in the hallways and pool area. These reviewers felt the hotel was geared more towards families than elderly or solo travellers.
Although the pool was a source of enjoyment for many guests, some reviewers found it disappointing. These guests found the pool to be too shallow for adults, cold, and with a high level of chlorine present.
A few lodgers were upset at the hotel's policy of charging a $100 refundable deposit upon check in. These guests recounted being told the deposit was for "incidentals", which they found to be unnecessary and inconvenient.
