Food facilities include Denny's 24 Hour Restaurant and Chop Steakhouse Bar. In-room dining is available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.

The GoodGuests typically enjoyed their stay at the Sandman Hotel in Winnipeg and many made mention of planned returns.
Many guests thought the hotel was conveniently located to the airport, some stating the added convenience of a free shuttle service to the airport and also that the hotel offered long-term parking stopovers for those flying out of Winnipeg (sometimes included in the room rate).
The parking lot and location was also considered to be safe according to guests. Some guests also praised the hotel's proximity to Polo Park Shopping Centre, downtown Winnipeg and the Perimeter Highway.
The on-site restaurants received a lot of compliments from the guests who found the food to be very good and enjoyed the convenience of having these restaurants attached to the hotel.
Several guests commented favourably regarding the modern decor of the hotel, the beautiful appearance of the lobby, and the well furnished and modern guest rooms.The rooms were considered to be very clean, quiet and comfortable with new and ultra comfy beds.
The Bad
The staff received mixed reviews, in the reviews used for this report. Some guests considered them to be rude and vowed never to return to the hotel and some guests praised the friendliness and competence of the staff. By far the great majority of the guests enjoyed the staff, however, and gave them good reviews.
Thin and rough towels was second on the list of complaints with a few people raising the issue.
There were a few guests who complained about the location of the indoor pool. They claimed to have had to walk through the lobby and both restaurants to get to the pool. One guest also complained that there was no seating provided in the pool area.
TripAdvisor.com ranked the hotel 19th out of 57 properties in Winnipeg, and guest ratings averaged 3.5 points out of 5 from 58 guest reviews.
Booking.com guest ratings averaged 8.5 points out of 10 from 20 guest reviews.
