Errors on the part of the staff and hotel was another theme across reviews. One guest found incorrect charges on his hotel bill from the restaurant. A few people had trouble accessing the building due to the key card readers not working and some people complained of having been checked into rooms that were already occupied.

"Nice room, rude people"
"I spent 2 nights in this hotel, needing to eat I ordered some food, the first night the person who answered the phone was very rude did not realize that he didn't put me on hold and said "I don't get why people can't get their own food instead of making me go to the bar to get it" by the way the bar is across the hall from the restaurant...the next night I ordered a pizza from the hotel restaurant(altos) the pizza was delivered 40 minutes after I ordered it and when I went to eat it, it was like glue, soggy and stuck together. I was asked to bring it down to the restaurant and then treated like crap when I said I didn't want it. The guys name was Mike, very very rude, asked why I didn't call the second I got the pizza, told there wasn't much he could do. Acused me of telling him the food had been delivered sooner then I said. He was talking about me to his co worker infront of me, spoke to other customers and did not take care of me. I told him to take the pizza off my room service charge and he rolled his eyes did it and walked away. The rooms are nice and clean but there is something in there that makes you cough all morning and gives you a headache. I recommend this hotel for its beds but that's about it....the front desk guy was amazingly nice at check out very nice guy."

"Totally pleased."
"My stay was awesome, clean rooms, beds are to die for. Front desk staff was awesome as well. I stay there begining of May and had to go back again middle of May and booked to stay there again. In all fairness to people wanting to stay there I was put in the newly renovated section, it is so nice."

Verified Guest from Gretna, MB CA rated Canad Inns Fort Garry 6 out of 10 on November 02, 2010 Verified Guest Hotel Review

"The rooms and hallway are not soundproof enough. Noisy disruption from over-tired children and parents trying to manage them at 3-4am were very disturbing. I believe the hotel needs to monitor hallways more when there are guests being housed there for extended periods. This greatly diminished my stay."
