"Some of the staff in the restraunt at the hotel gave us really poor service. But byond that the hotel itself gave pretty good service."

"One of the main reasons for staying at your hotel was the shuttle service to and from the air port.
(I would recommend that your reservation employees mention. When they are asked if there is a shuttle service in Winnipeg. That the customer has to phone the hotel from the air port to be picked up. )
The front desk employees were just great as was the driver of the shuttle. Managment was also very helpfull. Every time I asked questions or needed help they were very courteous and polite. The food in the restaurant execellent .The king size bed was great.
Also in closing I would like to point out that when I phoned for my reservation the lady taking it was very ,very good at what she does. She went the extra mile too :
(1)Find out if they had a shuttle to the air port.
(2)I requested two rooms. One for me and my wife and the other for my daughter and her friend
(3) I also asked that we be put on different floors. She was honest and up front with me. She told me that she would see what she could do but could not guarantee separate floors. I liked that. She just was not making promise`s to make the sale.
The next time I stay in Winnipeg I will be staying at the Best Western Charterhouse Downtown Winnipeg Manitoba

"We booked a non-smoking room and we're initially given a smoking room which was discussing. Also, the beds in the smoking room were in very poor shape. When we called down to the Front Desk the female staff member said she would call us back and let us know if she had anything else available. After waiting in the room for 20 minutes we went down to the Front Office and the female staff person was not even there. However, the gentleman there did provide us with another room which was a respectable room."
