The Good
Reviews for this hotel were predominantly positive, among those used for this analysis. The hotel's location and staff were among the highlights, according to guests.

Most guests enjoyed the location of the hotel — within Whistler village but slightly off the beaten path, making it quieter than some other hotels along the main pedestrian streets of the village. Guests liked being within a 2-minute walk of the lifts, and some said the hotel's proximity to the kids' ski school a special perk.

For the most part, front desk and restaurant staff at this hotel received praised from reviewers. Staff were quick to accommodate special requests and a few guests mentioned personal service throughout their stay.

Many guests appreciated the full kitchens in all of the rooms, explaining that the grocery store was not far from the hotel (6-minute walk), which made self-catering easy and affordable.

The Bad
While most of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them.

Many guests complained about the parking fees and said they were too expensive ($30/day or $34/day for valet parking). While this was a common complaint, a few guests mentioned that they were able to find free parking in outdoor lots within a 5- to 7-minute walk of the hotel.

Some guests also complained that the junior suites in particular were too small.

A few guests complained that the water pressure in the showers was too strong, though others mentioned that it was preferred compared to weak water pressure.

Some felt that the basic Wi-Fi service was slow and that the fee to upgrade to a higher speed ($14.99/day) was too high.
