"photos of rooms on website very misleading. the actual room is less luxurious then it appears on the website.
our room smelled of cigarette smoke and body odor on arrival. front desk's solution was to send air freshener and air out the room. this was unacceptable and a change of room was requested.
while in new room, showering and unpacking, the door was unlocked and opened by a couple that were assigned the same room. nice surprise for both of us! unexpected visitors and a naked man!! again, front desk apologized and would not charge us for parking as compensation. at that point, we were too frustrated and angry to complain anymore. short of leaving, which would have been totally inconvenient we stayed and hoped for no more misadventures.
finally, our room key kept on demagnetizing (twice) and would not open the door to our room. more trips to the front desk...more apologies.
if you would like to relax in a comfortable and special place with good service and great rooms as advertised, the pinnacle hotel is definately NOT the place to stay in!!!"

The Whistler Pinnacle is centrally located within Whistler Village approximately 85 miles from Vancouver International Airport. All of the very best of Whistler/ Blackcomb and Whistler Village is within a short walk of the hotel.
The Pinnacle was designed with every comfort in mind, from in-room double Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces to the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The hotel offers ski and snowboard rentals, fitness facility, children?s activities, restaurant, room service, daily maid services, laundry facilities, as well as underground parking with ski and snowboard lockers and bicycle storage. Dining options include Quattro at Whistler, featuring authentic Italian country cuisine. Other fun dining places are located within a five minute walk from the hotel.
Each private studio suite at the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel has a two-person soaker tub overlooking the fireplace, with a separate bathroom with a sit-down shower. The deluxe studio is equipped with one queen bed and one sofa bed. The studio is equipped with one queen bed. The suites include two people in rate, two additional occupants are allowed with extra person fee. Guestrooms feature full kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges. Other amenities include cable television, wireless internet service, iron/ironing board, DVD and CD players, hairdryer, oversized pillows and fluffy bathrobes.
