Located in the heart of Whistler Village, this hotel is a year-round holiday destination offering access to world-class skiing and snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking, fishing and golfing. With only a 4-minute walk to the Whistler Village gondola, this property is ideal for skiers and snowboarders wanting to hit the slopes early. 

This property is smoke-free and all 83 suites include free Wi-Fi, individual climate control, a kitchen (all appliances including an oven) or kitchenette (all appliances except for ovens), a coffeemaker, a flat-screen TV with cable, a home theatre system with CD player, iPod docking, a gas fireplace, a balcony, a sofabed, an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, a safe and a hair dryer. Studio suites have a Murphy bed and 1 bedroom suites are furnished with 1 queen bed. There are a variety of 2-bedroom suites; some have 2 bathrooms and 2 TVs and are furnished with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and a sofa bed. Room extras include washer, dryer, den and oversized terrace.

This hotel is family friendly and provides amenities and services to assist those travelling with children and babies including baby monitors, baby-sitting services, family activities and games, pool diapers for infants, crib and playpen, high chairs and children's robes.

This hotel offers pet amenities and services. A maximum of 2 dogs or cats of all sizes are allowed per room for an additional fee of $25 per night, per pet to a maximum of $100 per stay for each pet. Pet sitters are also available along with adventure hikes, treats, food and water bowls, blanket and biodegradable waste bags.

A free hot buffet breakfast is served daily from 7 am - 10 am at the on-site Pacific Bistro in the winter and a continental breakfast in the summer. Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub and Patio offers 3 meals plus apres ski dining at the Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel, a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Room service is also available from Earls Restaurant.

Secure underground parking is available on site for $28 per night for self parking (6' 7" limit) and $32 for valet parking. Free in-resort shuttle services are available to all guests.  Other on-site amenities include a sauna, 2 hot tubs, a year-round outdoor heated lap pool, a fitness room, slope-side ski valet service (extra fees apply), ski and golf storage, shuttle service between the two Pan Pacific hotels and the lifts, a business centre, concierge services, coin-operated laundry machines, and babysitting services (extra fees).

The Whistler Olympic Plaza (concert venue), the Whistler Museum, the Whistler Conference Centre and the Whistler Village Art Gallery are all about 5 minutes' walk away. Guests were typically thrilled with their stays at this hotel, judging from recent reviews read for this report.

Many guests described the rooms as clean, spacious and well appointed with modern furnishings. Guests were pleased with the layouts of the rooms, the convenience of having kitchens and extra space. Some highlighted the comfortable beds and luxurious sheets in their rooms. A few reviewers thought that the kitchens were well equipped with cookware and appliances.

Many guests found the location convenient for accessing ski lifts, grocery stores, restaurants and shops on foot.

The staff made the difference here. Many reviewers described top notch service from the staff. Guests said they were friendly, attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable, quick to provide recommendations and directions, and willing to help guests out in any way possible. One guest called the service impeccable. Guests gave stories of how the staff went above and beyond rising to every possible occasion (driving an injured guest to the hospital, providing Christmas trees for a family's stay, jump-starting a dead battery etc.).

Many guests praised the food at the free breakfast. They saw it as adding value to their stay and were pleased with the variety offered and hot items (in the winter). A few guests were pleased to be offered a free alcoholic beverage during the apres ski time at the hotel.

Many reviewers enjoyed the outdoor pool area and some guests said that the pool and hot tub were heated to a comfortable temperature.

Some reviewers thought this hotel offered good value.
