"we`were`told at time of booking that we were getting an adjoining room as per our request come the time of check in, no such room even existed in this hotel, as well we asked about the pool and no one told us that it was under maintenance and would not be available for use"

"I can't imagine staying in your hotel in the summer when it's hotter than it was during my stay (end of May). The rooms were HOT! A/C would have been nice and next time I'm Victoria I'll try to find a hotel that has it!"

"Travellers Inn are all over Victoria and Vancouver, they list themselves as an "affordable" hotel. Their accomodations are rundown and inconvienient, bordering on dirty. The bed was a plank - it was that hard. We had a non-smoking king and it was situated right over the smoking area of the smelly dirty lounge, so the smoke went right up to our room. No A/C, so we had to keep the windows open, and the pool full of screaming kids was directly below as well. We checked right out of there the next morning and went someplace else. The staff was courteous, helful and friendly, however, just like all of Victoria."
