"The only hotel worth staying at in Victoria"
"From beginning to end the Fairmont Empress has set the bar in terms of decor, service and professionalism in the hotel industry. Staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and the location cannot be beat! Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Victoria."

"We noticed dust on the hall tables and the windows in the Bengal Lounge were very dirty - a surprise. Our room was lovely and we were delighted to be upgraded to a room with a view. Staff were friendly everywhere and the rooms are lovely. Thank you.
The breakfast staff at Kiplings was especially friendly and we had a lovely time."

"sSeveral of our children gave us this stay as a surprise 40th wedding anniversary gift.
The person in charge of our visit, Salam Guenette, was excellent.
Thank you for the "best" anniversary place to stay. I plan to visit again, it was so nice!
We so enjoyed the comfortable rooms that were a pleasure to be in and the housekeeping was faultless!
Thank you for the time and trouble to make a really pleasurable experience for your guests. Everything was so nice. And we even came home laden with gifts from the Empress: tea, a tea trivet and a book that I said I'd like to buy, but lo and behold! I received it as a gift! Such hospitality!
