Overlooking Victoria's inner harbour and about a 1-minute drive from the Trans-Canada Highway, The Fairmont Empress is suitable for business or vacation travellers who prefer a centrally located hotel with meeting/banquet space, on-site dining and easy highway access.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms offers with cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Microwaves are available free upon request. Rooms with a harbour view, a kitchenette, a sitting area and sofabed, a jetted tub and decorative fireplace are also available, as are wheelchair accessible room. In-room Wi-Fi is an additional $14.65 per 24 hours, while pet rooms are available for $25 per pet, per night.

Hotel amenities include an indoor lap pool, kiddie pool, sauna and hot tub, a spa and wellness centre, a 24-hour fitness room, meeting/banquet space, a 24-hour business centre, laundry services, an elevator, three restaurants, 24-hour room service and babysitting services (available upon request with advance notice). Parking is $30 per day for either self or valet parking.
