The Bad
Complaints from guests about this hotel mostly centred on things like noise, cleanliness of common areas and size of the rooms.

Noise was an issue mentioned by several guests, who were disturbed by street noise, by noise from guests in neighbouring rooms and by loud guests lingering in hallways or outdoors. A few guests noted that it was frequently noisy in the late evening and early morning hours, and some mentioned that noise from the music in the club continued till about 2 am.

Some guest reviewers felt that this hotel was dated, and in need of upgrades, particularly in regards to the furniture and decor in the rooms. Several noted that they were small or had small bathrooms, (although some guest rooms were quite spacious according to some guests). The lack of air conditioning was a problem for guests in the warmer months.

There were a few complaints about the staff being disinterested, and somewhat flippant, if guests complained about things or expected service of some kind.

Guest opinion seemed mixed about the free breakfast, with some finding it adequate and others saying it lacked in quality.

Other complaints were: mouldy grouting in bathroom, dusty fans, in-room furniture broken, carpet was old and smelly, toilet leaked where attached to the floor, windows could not open except for a few inches giving no air flow, no ice machine on floors but available off site a the liquor store next door, old and flat pillows and no coffeemaker in the rooms.
