The Good
This hotel is being renovated and was well liked for its good value, good staff, excellent downtown location and overall comfort.

Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfy beds, high-quality pillows, good water pressure and lots of plugs for charging electronics.

Guests liked the location. It was an easy walk to local attractions, plus many restaurants, bars and boutiques.

Staff were very helpful, informative and friendly.

The restaurant provided good food at reasonable prices with a somewhat limited menu. One guest loved the grilled cheese sandwich.

Guests often appreciated the parking. It was secure and underground with elevator access to the rooms. Some parked overnight for free on the street and there was overflow parking available at the library across the street (which one guest said was cheaper on the weekend).

Some felt the hotel was well priced.

Guests also appreciated: having a glass of wine and unwinding in the hotel’s courtyard, very clean pet rooms and free coffee in the lobby.

The Bad
There was a little negative feedback online.

Recent room complaints were: room needed more seating, room was a little dated, poor view from room and room was too warm.

Although hallways and public spaces had central air conditioning, the rooms did not and could be too warm in the summertime.

Noise disturbance was mentioned occasionally from: traffic, pub patrons outside at night and electric fans in the room used to cool the rooms.
