"The hotel could use airco the "hot" temperature we had. I allthough would recommend the hotel to low budget people in Victoria esp. for the location to attractions and shopping and the quietness of the hotel"

"Though we asked for non-smoking and received it, it still smelled like old tobacco. It was pretty noisy on the street, tho the new windows did help. Everyone said the water pressure was terrific which it was but it also had abrupt changes in temperture, going from warm to hot! Not a great experience, but cheap."

"We wont stay there again - the layout is poor inside room, Bathroom sink outside toilet/Bathrub area - meaning if one has drapes pulled back - is visible to all who walk by, no Air Conditioner & it was stifling. One cannot open window then noise from others passing by window or vehicles starting in Parking lot would keep one awake. Was kept awake all night anyway with a noisy fan.
Plus - we were NOT asked about AAA or BCAA discounts when booking online, the rates were greatly reduced if one had those - we DID, but just got a shrug.
Wont be booking online again either !"

"The bathtub dripped all night keeping me awake. I complained on two consecutive days, but it was never fixed. Also the tub did not drain so we stood in ankle deep water when taking a shower. Other than that, the accommodations were OK. There seems to be a disconnect between the front desk and the maintenance service."

"If you're looking for an affordable, clean, no frills place to stay, this is it. The rooms were older, but clean, and the restaurant is open 24 hours a day with reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and courteous. It is within walking distance to many of Victoria's attractions, so you don't have to drive around much once you're there. For our purposes, it was perfect. We would stay there again."

The 24 hour restaurant was great."

"The water system probably needs to be upgraded for the number of tenants as the temperature always varied between cold, comfortable and very hot in the shower.
A radio in the room to listen to would be a nice added feature as well."
