"the fold down sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. The pool was lovely and often empty except my family.
The deposit paid on booking was not deducted. Why?"

"They booked me in a room that wasn't even a room. It looked like it was just a extra space that they put a number on. And the call system outside didn't even have my room on it. The bathroom door didn't shut, the chair was so butsed that the bottom was falling out from underneath it. The wall paper was this awful orange and brown print. I was very upset when I got there and relized I couldn't get a refund. I wish I could have my money back and stay in some place like The Empress."

A Moderate First Class hotel designed somewhat as a castle. The hotel offers large units with fully equipped kitchens and a separate living room and also feature a balcony. The hotel is located on the Gorge overlooking the scenic water inlet and just minutes from downtown Victoria. The units are spacious and offer fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and balconies. Guest facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi.
