Overview
This property is comprised of three buildings (all located side-by-side): the Inn, Heritage House and a cottage. The properties are located within a 5-minute walk of Beacon Hill Park. Holland Point Park on the waterfront is 7 minutes away on foot. These properties are well located for guests who are looking to explore the nature attractions of downtown Victoria.

All rooms in the Inn include free Wi-Fi, a TV, a bathroom with a tub and/or shower, windows that open and individual climate control. Rooms are furnished with one double bed, one queen bed, two queen beds or one king bed. 

Rooms at the Heritage House include a flat screen TV, a sitting area, free Wi-Fi, hardwood floors and antique furnishings. Rooms are furnished with one king bed and a sofa bed or one queen bed. The Heritage House also offers a common kitchen and dining area. 

The James Bay Cottage features two bedrooms furnished with queen beds, a living room, fireplace, a kitchen, private parking for two cars, free Wi-Fi, free local calls and a 4-piece bathroom.

Free parking is available on site for all properties and pets are not permitted. The Inn has three floors and no elevator.

The Inn has two on-site dining options: The JBI Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the JBI Pub serves lunch and dinner.

Other on-site amenities (at the Inn) include a business centre, luggage storage, dry cleaning and tours/ticket assistance.

While many guests described enjoyable stays at this property, as mentioned above, there were a few common concerns found among the reviews sourced for this editorial.

Several reviewers found their rooms to be small and one guest said that once their luggage was in the room, it became difficult to fully open the guest room door.

Other reviewers cautioned future guests that the Inn did not have an elevator and that the stairs leading to the guest rooms were steep. A few reviewers found the stairs difficult to manage with luggage.

A few guests complained that their rooms were not equipped with a hair dryer, alarm clock or a coffeemaker. A couple of reviewers experienced problems with fluxuating water temperatures in the shower.
