The Good
Many guests really enjoyed their experiences at this motel-style accommodation which has been creatively remodeled to a 60's theme and offers lots of included amenities.

Guests really liked the retro theme of the hotel and thought it was a colourful and fun experience, especially for their teenagers. Some described their rooms as clean, spacious and well-equipped with kitchenettes. Many guests said their beds were comfortable.

The shuttle van was a big hit with lots of guests, for its older style and for the convenience of getting to town and back for free, day by day. This added value to the stay for many, and some mentioned the ping pong lounge, the pool and waterslide and free bike rentals as being great additions to their stay.

Guests found the staff very welcoming and said they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Guests mentioned easily getting late check outs and early check ins.

Some guests enjoyed meals on site at the restaurant saying that both food and service were great.

The Bad
While most reviews were positive for this motel, among the reviews read for this report, there were a few common threads among complaints.

Several guests described their rooms as small, with older bathrooms and unbearably hot (in the summer) with no air conditioning. Noise was an issue for some who complained about noise transfer through the walls of nearby and overhead rooms, the busy street and guests in the pool area. A few were disappointed to find no coffeemakers in the rooms.

Some guests felt that the rates were a little steep for a budget motel located out of the downtown core. A couple of guests had issues with the water in their shower turning cold and there was the occasional complaint of sporadic Wi-Fi.
