Overview
Located just off the Trans-Canada Highway in Victoria's city centre, the Hotel Rialto Victoria is geared towards business or vacation travellers who require a centrally located hotel with on-site dining, free Wi-Fi and easy highway access.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms and suites offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a desk, an iPod dock, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and a bathrobe for each guest. Rooms with a separate bedroom, a living area with a sofabed and a dining area are also available, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Hotel amenities include a fitness centre, meeting space, a business centre, a liquor store and on-site dining at Cafe Veneto (serving breakfast and lunch daily) and Veneto Tapa Lounge, which serves dinner daily. Public parking is located nearby for an additional $15 per day and pets are not permitted.

The majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms, location and food.

The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by lodgers, who found them efficient, friendly, attentive and accommodating. One patron remarked, "What really sets the Rialto above the rest is the attention to customer service. I have never been taken care of at a hotel quite as well as I have at the Rialto. Kudos to all of the staff there".

Numerous reviewers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet, nicely decorated and well equipped, with fast Wi-Fi and comfortable beds and linens. 

Several travellers enjoyed the hotel's location, describing it as central and close to the British Columbia Legislature Building, restaurants, shopping and the harbour. One lodger noted, "I didn't want to rent a car while we were there, so this location was perfect, we walked everywhere. It's only a block from Government Street which is fully of restaurants, and shops, and about a 20 minute walk to the harbour".

The hotel's food was praised by several guests. They described it as delicious, wonderful, excellent and delectable.
