Hotel’s location: This downtown boutique hotel is located in the heart of the city near restaurants. It’s a 4-minute walk from Market Square and shopping on Government Street.

The hotel has 50 smoke-free and pet-free rooms on 5 floors with elevator access.

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a flat screen TV with cable and movie channel, a coffeemaker, a tea kettle (on request), a mini-fridge, a microwave, a desk, iPod docking, an iron and ironing board (on request), a hair dryer, bathrobes and climate control.

Some rooms include a sofabed, an open-style bedroom, a separate bedroom, 2 TVs, a living room, a sofa, a mini-kitchen (mini-fridge, microwave, sink), a dining table, 2 bathrooms and a 2-person soaker tub. Accessible rooms are available.

Rooms are furnished with 1 or 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Valet parking is $22 per day with unlimited access. Self-parking is available in the City Parkade is $14.50 per day and free on Sundays.

Free for all guests:
a welcome cheese plate and a daily coffee with pastry to be enjoyed in the restaurant.

Restaurant on site: Café Veneto offers all-day breakfast and fresh choices for lunch from 7 am to 3 pm. Veneto Tapa Lounge serves dinner and cocktails.

Guests enjoyed this hospitable and charming hotel.

Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfy beds, lots of windows and heated bathroom floors.

Guests liked the location. Right downtown, they had good dining choices, shopping, transit, the waterfront and tourist attractions in walking distance.

Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Guests liked the restaurant. They enjoyed excellent breakfast, amazing cocktails and delicious and large-size tapas.

Guests often felt the hotel provided good value.

Guests also liked: double-paned windows that kept out the noise, having a microwave and dining utensils in the room, a liquor store on site and the Danzo private dining room.

The Bad
Some guests offered some negative feedback.

Recent room complaints were: room and bathroom were really small, no bathroom counter space, room was a little basic, romance room not romantic, no comfortable chair to sit in, air conditioner blew directly on bed, windows don’t open and shower is a bit small.

Noise disturbance was mentioned from: ice machine, door slamming, AC unit and Douglas St.

Other comments found were: no vending machines for snacks, check-in was slow and lobby is tiny.
